Job summary

CISDI is launching a hypertension Model of Care in primary health facilities. The Program Officer will supervise field staff, ensure care pathways are followed, and coach navigators and facility teams daily. The role requires a clinical background and strong training skills.

Based in or willing to relocate to Tegal/Brebes, travel between sites daily, maintain data quality, and support learning reviews to inform district health strategies. Indonesian fluency and English for guidelines are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or professional degree in Medicine or Nursing; midwifery with NCD experience accepted.
• Minimum two years in primary care clinical or programme work; NCD or hypertension experience preferred.
• Experience training health workers (adult learning) preferred.
• Valid STR certification is preferred; supportive supervision training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach navigators and facility staff to deliver the care model.
• Ensure registers, recall lists and fidelity data are complete.
• Monitor care pathways and SOP compliance daily.
• Provide technical support and coaching; feed field observations into learning reviews.
