Job summary

RGE is seeking a seasoned Production Supervisor to oversee daily fatty acid refinery operations, ensuring targets, quality, and efficiency are met. You will lead shift teams, monitor processes, and drive improvements across the plant.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field, with at least 5 years in fatty acid/oleochemical sectors and supervisory experience. Strong HSE, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fatty acid/oleochemical industries with at least 1 year of supervision.
• Knowledge of fatty acid production processes and continuous plant operations.
• Familiar with HSE standards, PSM, and ISO management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fatty acid refinery operations to ensure production targets, product quality, and efficiency are achieved.
• Monitor and optimize refinery processes, including distillation, fractionation, deodorization, and utility consumption, while troubleshooting deviations.
• Lead, coach, and develop production operators to maintain high performance and shift handovers.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Control, and Engineering teams to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
• Prepare production reports, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, yield, quality, and cost efficiency.

• Supervise daily fatty acid refinery operations to ensure production targets, product quality, and operational efficiency are achieved.
• Monitor and optimize refinery processes, including distillation, fractionation, deodorization, and utility consumption, while troubleshooting process deviations.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards by enforcing safe work practices, conducting safety inspections, and participating in incident investigations.
• Lead, coach, and develop production operators to maintain high performance, operational discipline, and effective shift handovers.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Control, and Engineering teams to minimize downtime, ensure equipment reliability, and resolve production issues.
• Prepare production reports, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, yield, quality, and cost efficiency.

To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fatty acid, oleochemical, with min 1 year supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of fatty acid production processes and continuous plant operations.
• Familiar with DCS/SCADA, production planning, and process optimization.
• Strong understanding of HSE standards, PSM, and ISO management systems.
