Job summary

Klotifai seeks a fashion designer for men’s wear to create masculine, functional ready-to-wear lines aligned with global trends. You will translate concepts into market-ready designs and produce precise flats and tech drawings for pattern making.

The role requires strong portfolio, 2–4 years in men’s wear, and collaboration with pattern makers and buyers to ensure viable collections and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in men’s wear focusing on streetwear or casual wear.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating commercial viability.
• Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop for flats and tech drawings.
• Understanding of male body anatomy, pattern construction, grading, and mass manufacturing.
• Knowledge of fabrics, GSM, shrinkage, and garment accessories.
• Excellent communication, detail-oriented, and cross-functional teamwork.
• Fluent basic English for global trend research.

WE ARE HIRING: FASHION DESIGNER (MEN'S WEAR)

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Fashion Design or a related creative field
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Fashion Designer focusing on men's wear, streetwear, or casual wear within the modern fashion retail industry
• Strong portfolio of men's wear designs (knit & woven) demonstrating commercial viability, aesthetic appeal, and alignment with current menswear trends
• Proficient in fashion graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop for creating flat sketches and technical drawings
• In-depth understanding of male body anatomy, men's garment pattern construction, sizing grading techniques, and mass garment manufacturing processes
• Solid knowledge of men's fabric characteristics, fabric weight (GSM), shrinkage, and garment accessory functionality
• Excellent communication skills, assertive, highly detail-oriented regarding garment construction, and capable of working cooperatively in cross-functional teams
• Fluent in basic English, both written and spoken, to conduct global trend research and comprehend technical documents

Job Summary

• Design and develop aesthetic, masculine, functional, and commercial men's ready-to-wear collections based on global fashion trends and modern consumer preferences
• Translate seasonal concepts, visual themes, and menswear trend pillars into proportionate and highly marketable collection designs
• Create precise technical flat drawings detailing collar construction, functional pockets, and seam junctions to serve as accurate guides for pattern making
• Conduct regular independent research on global men's fashion trends, evolving silhouettes (oversized, boxy, relaxed, utilitarian, classic tailoring), and modern lifestyle shifts
• Select appropriate men's fabric combinations (e.g., heavyweight cotton, denim, twill, canvas, fleece, terry, technical nylon) that meet target production costs
• Develop comprehensive technical specification sheets (Tech Packs) including accessory placement, button/zipper details, and finishing instructions
• Lead and evaluate fitting sessions alongside Pattern Makers and Sample Makers to assess shoulder proportions, chest width, mobility, and overall silhouette accuracy
• Direct pattern corrections or garment construction modifications post-fitting to secure final technical approval
• Coordinate actively with the Buying & Merchandising team regarding the commercial viability of the collection, seasonal SKU allocation, and target production price points
• Propose design concepts, trend color palettes, and silhouette variations to the Fashion Design Manager, while retaining the authority to reject misaligned patterns prior to joint technical revisions
