Job summary

Cartiera is seeking a Technical Illustrator to own the garment blueprint from concept sketches to production-ready documentation.

You will create precise 2D garment drawings, develop construction details, and assemble tech packs while collaborating with Design and Merchandising to ensure consistency across styles. Fresh grads welcome; portfolio required, with at least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
• A portfolio featuring garment technical drawings is required.
• Fresh graduates welcome; candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience are preferred.
• Good understanding of garment construction, sewing techniques, fabrics, and trims.
• Familiar with garment tech specs and tech pack preparation.
• Knowledge of menswear categories and related apparel.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate, detailed, and editable vector-based technical drawings for garments, including front and back views.
• Develop detailed garment construction drawings and technical specifications to support production.
• Prepare and maintain tech packs with essential product specifications and construction details.
• Support Product Development in finalizing garment specifications.
• Revise drawings based on fittings, design updates, and team feedback.
• Organize and archive tech drawing files for each SKU; collaborate with Design/Merchandising to ensure accuracy.

From technical drawings and construction details to tech packs and fitting revisions, you'll help bring designs to life with accuracy and precision.

Job Description :

• Create accurate, detailed, and editable vector-based technical drawings for garments, including front and back views.
• Develop detailed garment construction drawings and technical specifications to support the production process.
• Prepare and maintain technical packs (tech packs) containing essential product specifications and construction details.
• Support the Product Development team in preparing and finalizing garment specifications.
• Revise technical drawings based on fitting sample results, design updates, and feedback from relevant teams.
• Organize, manage, and archive technical drawing files for each SKU in a structured and systematic manner.
• Collaborate with the Design and Merchandising teams to ensure design accuracy and consistency throughout the production process.

Requirements :

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
• Able to create detailed 2D garment technical drawings, including front and back views and construction details.
• Good understanding of garment construction, sewing techniques, fabric types, and garment trims and accessories.
• Familiar with garment technical specifications and tech pack preparation.
• Familiar with menswear categories, including jackets, shirts, polo shirts, T-shirts, hoodies, and pants.
• Detail-oriented, accurate, organized, and able to manage files and technical documentation systematically.
• Able to translate design sketches and visual references into accurate technical drawings ready for production.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience are preferred.
• A portfolio featuring garment technical drawings is required.
