Job summary

Little Palmerhaus in Tangerang, Indonesia, is seeking a creative Fashion Designer to develop baby and kids wear collections from concept to finished product. You will conduct market research, create design concepts, select fabrics and colors, and prepare tech packs for production.

The ideal candidate has strong garment construction knowledge, proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop, excellent English, and the ability to work quickly in a collaborative team to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Fashion Design.
• 1–3+ years in the fashion industry.

• Solid knowledge of pattern making, sewing, draping, lab dips & fittings.
• Able to develop a collection from concept to finished design.

Job description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to develop clothing collections for baby and kids wear, from concept development to finished products. The role involves conducting market and trend research, developing design concepts, selecting fabrics and colors, creating technical drawings and tech packs, and collaborating with the production team to ensure design feasibility. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of garment construction and fashion development processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Draw, design, and develop new clothing samples, and create and turn in documentation worksheets & techpacks.
• Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration.
• Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts.
• Testing and deciding on fabrics, colors, patterns and textures for each design.
• Work with production to see if the design is feasible

REQUIREMENT :

• Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Fashion Design
• Experience in The Fashion Industry minimum 1-3+ years
• Fresh Graduates are welcomed
• Able to use basic design tools ( Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop)
• Highly interested in baby & kids wear
• Full understanding of technical drawing, sewing, pattern making & draping process, lab dip & fitting
• Technical skills in areas such as pattern cutting, grading, tech pack, and garment construction
• Able to creatively develop fabric & colors
• Capable of creating a collection from concept to finished design.
• Good knowledge & understanding in sizing, costing, budgeting, branding & marketing
• Creative, Team Player, Well-organized and Detail-oriented
• Able to manage a tight deadline (excellent time management)
• Work well under pressure & fast-paced environment
• Passionate and eager to learn a new skill, especially in ready-to-wear industry
• Excellent English skill is a must, both written & spoken
