Job summary

Nityo Infotech Indonesia is seeking an experienced Facility Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of mission-critical Data Center facilities in South Jakarta. The role leads facilities technicians, coordinates vendors, and ensures 24x7 availability and reliability of essential systems.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Data Center Facilities experience, a degree in Building Services or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, and a proven ability to manage projects, alarms, and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in Building Services, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in 24x7 Data Center or mission-critical facilities.
• Hands-on experience in Data Center Facilities, Critical Facilities, Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, or related environments.
• Strong understanding of facility operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency response.
• Able to work in shift-based environment and support 24x7 Data Center operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage facilities technicians in the operation and maintenance of 24x7 mission-critical Data Center facilities.
• Act as a Project Engineer for additions, alterations, and improvement works for customer facilities.
• Coordinate and manage contractors and service vendors for facility operations and maintenance.
• Respond to facility emergencies and coordinate teams to restore system availability.
• Develop and improve operation and maintenance procedures and maintenance programs.
• Monitor vendor performance and report to management.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Facility Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of mission-critical facilities within a Data Center environment.

This role will be responsible for leading facilities technicians, coordinating vendors and contractors, supporting project activities, and ensuring the availability, reliability, and operational performance of critical Data Center facilities on a 24x7 basis.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage facilities technicians in the operation and maintenance of 24x7 mission-critical Data Center facilities to meet service level requirements and operational standards.
• Act as a Project Engineer for addition, alteration, and improvement works involving new and existing customer facilities.
• Coordinate and manage contractors and service vendors for facility operations, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repair activities.
• Respond to facility emergencies and coordinate technicians and service vendors to restore system availability and maintain Data Center service levels.
• Develop, review, and continuously improve operation and maintenance procedures, requirements, and maintenance programs together with internal teams and service vendors.
• Monitor and evaluate vendor performance and provide regular reports and updates to the management team.
• Participate in ISO certification activities, internal/external audits, and related compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and inventories of facilities, equipment, apparatus, spare parts, and tools.
• Lead, coach, and train facilities technicians to ensure compliance with SOPs, escalation procedures, incident management, and change management processes.
• Support the reporting manager in the administration and coordination of the Facilities team.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical facility systems in accordance with established procedures and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in Building Services, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of 24x7 Data Center or mission-critical facilities.
