Job summary

Caterpillar Indonesia Batam is seeking a Manufacturing System Operator (Fabrication) to manage the production line, analyze issues, and implement corrective actions, both temporary and permanent. You will ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met in the fabrication area.

Qualified candidates have a Diploma 3, production experience, knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, and CAD tools such as CREO, Inventor, or SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Diploma3 (D3) or equivalent and production environment experience.
• Lean Manufacturing principles knowledge and applying them on shop floor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update fabrication process documents (SWS, APQP).
• Analyze production processes and Caterpillar products using CAD tools.
• Provide technical production recommendations.
• Follow up on results from CI and AQE impacting production.
• Manage Quality Gate data for SPC analysis.
