About the role

PT Hookah Place Partnership is seeking an enthusiastic and professional F&B Server to join our hospitality team in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position where you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service to our guests whilst maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. As an F&B Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our customers, ensuring their satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting guests warmly and promptly upon arrival, providing seating and presenting menus in a professional manner
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
• Serving food and drinks in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring plates are presented attractively and orders are correct
• Checking in regularly with guests to ensure their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or special requests
• Processing payments accurately and handling cash and card transactions securely
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment, including clearing and resetting tables between services
• Upholding food safety and health and hygiene standards at all times
• Recommending menu items and beverages based on guest preferences and dietary requirements
• Working collaboratively with kitchen, bar and management staff to ensure smooth service operations
• Assisting with general housekeeping duties and restocking supplies as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a server or in a customer-facing hospitality role is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in taking orders and processing payments
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining composure under pressure
• Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and carry items safely
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and practices within the hospitality industry
• Reliability and punctuality with a positive, customer-focused attitude
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• A working knowledge of English is essential; additional language skills are advantageous
