About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Restaurant Server to join the team at PT Hookah Place Partnership in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position where you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Restaurant Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining our high service standards, and contributing to the overall success of our hospitality business. This role requires a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in every guest interaction.

Key responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and seat them at appropriate tables in accordance with restaurant capacity and guest preferences

Present menus to guests and provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding food and beverage offerings

Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff

Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring all items are delivered correctly and at the appropriate temperature

Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly and courteously

Process payments and handle cash or card transactions with accuracy

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, tables and service stations

Comply with health and safety regulations and food handling standards

Assist with setup and breakdown of dining spaces before and after service

Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders and other team members to ensure smooth operations

Upsell additional items and specialties to enhance guest experience and increase revenue

What we're looking for

Previous experience working as a server or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service

Strong ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining composure under pressure

Proficiency in taking orders accurately and remembering guest preferences

Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including allergen information and dietary requirements

Physical stamina to remain on your feet for extended periods and ability to carry multiple items safely

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation

Reliability and punctuality with a positive attitude towards teamwork

Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are highly desirable

Experience in hookah lounges or upscale dining establishments is advantageous
