Job summary

Bureau Veritas Indonesia is seeking an Export Pipeline & ORF Technical/Process Safety Engineer to lead risk-based design for upstream O&G facilities. The role requires strong expertise in process safety, hazard analysis, and delivering the safety design basis and related deliverables.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, support construction, and ensure safe integration of safety systems into export pipeline and ORF projects, including commissioning and startup activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering (S1) from a university in Indonesia.
• Minimum 10 years experience in process safety engineering design upstream oil and gas topside/ORF facilities.
• Experience delivering Process Safety Design Basis, Hazardous area drawings, HAZID/HAZOP and related deliverables.
• Proficient with PIPENET, FLARESIM, and PHAST.
• Experience supporting construction and resolving discrepancies at site.
• Experience integrating safety systems into export pipeline and ORF designs.
• Experience in commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Process Safety Design Basis and related deliverables.
• Prepare conceptual designs and hazard analyses for export pipelines and ORF facilities.
• Support site construction and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Integrate safety systems with pipeline and ORF designs; participate in commissioning and startup activities.

• a) Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering (S1) from university in Indonesia.
• b) Minimum 10 years experiences in relevant process safety engineering design upstream oil and gas topside/ORF facilities.
• c) Experience in develop main deliverable such as Process Safety Design Basis, Conceptual Designs of Process Safety, Specifications, Simulations, Calculations, Datasheets, Standard Drawings, Hazardous schedule, hazardous area classification drawing, escape route layout drawing, HAZID/HAZOP and etc with related process safety design aspect.
• d) Familiar and shall have experience to use software such as PIPENET, FLARESIM, dan PHAST.
• e) Experience in engineering support for construction activities and communicate with related party for any discrepancy in drawing and actual at site.
• f) Exeperience in process safety management systems for export pipeline and ORF projects
• g) Exeperience in to integrate safety systems into export pipeline and ORF designs
• h) Have experience for activities Commissioning & start-up and trouble shooting.
