Job summary

PT Bureau Veritas Indonesia is seeking a senior Instrument Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Physics Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in instrument engineering design for upstream oil and gas facilities. Expertise with international codes (ISA, API, IEC, ASME, ISO, ANSI) and instrument drawings (P&ID, layout, termination) is essential.

The role requires deep knowledge of field instrumentation, control valves, DCS/ESD, HIPPS, and subsea topside control systems, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Physics Engineering from a university in Indonesia.
• Minimum 10 years experiences in instrument engineering design upstream oil and gas ORF facilities.
• Experience with relevant international codes and standards: ISA, FCI, API, IEC, NEMA, ASME, AGA, ISO, ANSI and Company Standard.
• Experience with instrument specification and design criteria, instrument drawings (P&ID, instrument layout, hook up, termination, hydraulic and control schematic)
• Experience with MAC architecture (DCS, ESD, F&G), hazardous area classification concept, datasheet, calculation, MTO, cable schedule, tubing schedule and bulk material.
• Experience Thorough knowledge of field instrumentation, control valves, SDV, PSV, HIPPS, MPFM, DCS, ESD, F&G, PAGA, Gas Turbine Compressor Control System and Subsea Topside Control System such as MCS, PHPU, TUTU, SSIV LCP, AVGM is essential.
• Experience Provide engineering support for construction activities and communicate with related party for any discrepancy in drawing and actual at site.
