Job summary

PT Bureau Veritas Indonesia is seeking an experienced senior discipline engineer for offshore and onshore facilities construction and installation. The candidate will leverage a strong construction engineering background and proven yard leadership to oversee piping design and field activities.

The role requires extensive experience with welding, NDT, PWHT, hydrotest, and procedures for hot work involving pressurized habitats, as well as familiarity with ASME B31.3, API, and SNI standards.

Qualifications

• Min 10 years working experience in area production facility construction and installation, strong construction engineering background and demonstrable yard leadership skills.
• 8 years supervisory experiences in relevant discipline engineer in upstream oil and gas facilities.
• Experience with engineering support during welding fabrication, installation, NDT, PWHT, hydrotest, chemical flushing, blowing, pigging, and N2 preservation activities.
• Experience with the utilization of Pressurized Habitat during HOT WORK activities in facility oil & gas brown field area.
• Experience with and experience of applying codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, API, SNI and other relevant standards.
• Having additional background and experience in welding, NDT, painting, corrosion, failure analysis or RBI (Risk Based Inspection) are preferable.
• Experience with the ITR-A, and ITR-B.

Job description

• a) Bachelor degree in mechanical or material engineering (S1) from university in Indonesia.
• b) Min 10 years working experience in area production facility construction and Installation, the experience gained shall be in a similar role and the candidate shall have a strong construction engineering background and have demonstrable yard leadership skills.
• c) 8 years supervisory experiences in relevant discipline engineer in upstream oil and gas facilities.
• d) Experience with the ITR-A, and ITR-B.
• e) Experience on using CAESAR software. Able to develop CAESAR for Piping model of all type including but not limited to geometry, boundary conditions, materials, and corrosion, added mass, loads (gravity, environmental, live loads, etc), and other offshore specific parameters.
• f) Experience with engineering support during welding fabrication, installation, NDT, PWHT, hydrotest, chemical flushing, blowing, pigging, and N2 preservation activities.
• g) Experience with the utilization of Pressurized Habitat during HOT WORK activities in facility oil & gas brown field area.
• h) Considerable experience of relevant piping design or during installation activities.
• i) Experience with and experience of applying codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, API, SNI and another relevant standard.
• j) Having additional background and experience in welding, NDT, painting, corrosion, failure analysis or RBI (Risk Based Inspection) are preferable.
