Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Economics, or a related field and at least three years of export-import experience. Customs knowledge and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of relevant export-import experience.
• Strong understanding of export-import procedures, regulations, documentation, and air and sea freight.
• Good knowledge of customs regulations and government policies.
• Able to manage costs, calculate advance payments, and prepare cost estimates.
• A Customs Expert Certification is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage export-import documents and records.
• Calculate advance payments for air and sea shipments.
• Monitor customer orders and submit supporting documents to the Finance team.
• Lead, train, and develop team members.
• Ensure export shipments are completed according to schedule.
• Monitor and report import operational costs.
• Verify document completeness before and after customs clearance.
• Monitor air and sea shipments.
• Ensure all required documents are complete for financial reporting.
• Prepare import cost estimates for pricing purposes.
