Pt Sefong Industries Batam is seeking a Remote Process Safety Engineer to join our global operations team. This fully remote role focuses on developing, implementing, and auditing process safety management systems across international facilities to uphold the highest safety standards.

You will conduct PHAs (HAZOP/LOPA/What-If), lead PSSRs and MOC reviews remotely, investigate incidents, and provide expert guidance to engineering and operations teams worldwide to strengthen a proactive safety

Remote Process Safety Engineer - Global Operations

Our client is looking for a highly experienced Remote Process Safety Engineer to join their global operations team. This fully remote position allows you to contribute to maintaining the highest safety standards across our client's international facilities without the need for travel. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and auditing process safety management systems, conducting risk assessments, and providing expert guidance to ensure a safe working environment. This role is critical for mitigating risks and promoting a strong safety culture across diverse operating sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust Process Safety Management (PSM) programs in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive process hazard analyses (PHAs), including HAZOP, LOPA, and What-If studies, for new and existing processes.
• Perform pre-startup safety reviews (PSSRs) and management of change (MOC) reviews remotely.
• Investigate process safety incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide expert technical support and training on process safety principles to engineering and operational teams globally.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for process safety and report on compliance
