Job summary

HRnetOne seeks a senior Retail Expansion Lead to drive growth across Surabaya and East Java. You will develop and execute expansion plans, source locations, and manage the full store opening cycle from negotiation to launch.

The ideal candidate has at least 8+ years in retail expansion, with proven multi-location leadership and strong experience in secondary urban markets such as Surabaya and East Java.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute retail expansion plans across Surabaya and East Java, with a strong focus on high-potential secondary urban markets.
• Identify and evaluate potential locations through site sourcing, location analysis, feasibility assessment, and landlord negotiation.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective locations to ensure sufficient sites progress through feasibility, negotiation, and approval stages.
• Manage the complete store opening process from site sourcing and approval through negotiation and launch.
• Assess rental costs, CAPEX, ROI, and store economics to ensure commercially viable expansion decisions.

Job Requirements

Key Requierements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field with 8+ years of retail expansion experience, preferably in mass-market or high-volume retail.
• Proven experience managing high-volume retail expansion, with strong capability in developing and executing expansion plans across multiple locations.
• Strong experience in secondary urban markets, with Surabaya/East Java exposure preferred, ideally 3+ years covering the region.
• Strong expertise in site acquisition, location analysis, feasibility assessment, and landlord negotiation.
• Solid commercial understanding of rental, CAPEX, ROI, and store economics, with experience managing end-to‑end store openings.
