Job summary

Torras is seeking an import coordinator to manage end-to-end import operations from China to Indonesia. You will work on-site in Pluit, North Jakarta, coordinating with China and local teams, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining stock records using BigSeller or ERP systems.

The role requires Mandarin fluency, strong communication and organizational skills, and a proactive approach to resolving shipment issues and coordinating with suppliers and freight forwarders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Management, International Business, Accounting, or related field.
• Mandarin proficiency is required, both spoken and written.
• Basic understanding of the import process from China to Indonesia and shipping coordination.
• Familiarity with PIB, customs payment bills, COO/SKA, LS, and SPPB regulations.
• Understanding of inventory management, stock movement, reconciliation, and stocktaking.
• Experience with BigSeller or ERP/inventory management systems preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data processing and reporting.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and proactive in following up tasks.
• On-site work in Pluit, North Jakarta, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import process from China to Indonesia, including goods readiness, pickup, shipping, customs clearance, and warehouse delivery.
• Communicate in Mandarin with China team and warehouse about stock availability, product details, shipping schedules, and required documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and related parties to track shipments and follow up on issues or delays.
• Prepare, check, and organize import documents such as invoices, packing lists, B/L/AWB, PIB, COO/SKA, LS, and SPPB.
• Check accuracy of product details, quantities, values, and documents; monitor import-related payments with Finance.
• Coordinate incoming shipments with the Indonesia warehouse and ensure goods are received and recorded.
• Follow up on quantity differences, damaged goods, or mismatches with warehouse, suppliers, and forwarders.
• Manage and update stock data, incoming/outgoing goods, and goods in transit using BigSeller or ERP system.
• Monitor stock levels and plan replenishment to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
• Reconcile stock records with warehouse, assist stocktaking, and prepare regular inventory/import progress reports.

• Coordinate incoming shipments with the Indonesia warehouse and ensure that all goods are received and recorded correctly.

• Experience in EXIM, logistics, or inventory control is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, including graduates from universities in China or Taiwan, provided they have good Mandarin skills and a basic understanding of imports and inventory management.
• Willing to work on-site (WFO) in Pluit, North Jakarta, Indonesia.
