The boutique resort in Bali seeks a hands-on Head Chef (Chef de Cuisine) to lead the kitchen and deliver Indonesian cuisine with Western and Asian influences. You will report directly to the Executive Chef and drive high standards in a boutique setting.

Indonesian nationals only are considered; strong English, coaching, and cost-control skills are essential. You will mentor the kitchen team and manage ordering with initiative and discipline.

Formación

• Culinary school background.
• Leisure resort and boutique operation experience.
• Current strong Chef de Cuisine or Head Chef will be considered.
• Strong expertise in Indonesian cuisine with exposure to Western and Asian cuisines.
• Very motivated and with a lot of passion for food.
• High standard of presentation and grooming at all times.
• Knowledge of all Kitchen operations and procedures.
• Able to control kitchen finances and ordering.
• Hard working and able to work efficiently under pressure.
• Should be very operational, a real hands-on / on-the-floor person.
• Good management skills.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Good English both spoken and written.
• Patient and able to coach the kitchen team.
• Willingness to take initiative and make decisions.
• Strong training skills.
• Computer literate.
• Attention to detail.
• Creative.

Responsabilidades

• Lead kitchen operations in a boutique resort setting.
• Coach and develop the kitchen team to maintain high standards.
• Ensure quality and consistency across Indonesian, Western, and Asian cuisines.
• Control kitchen finances, ordering, and stock management.
• Maintain presentation standards and grooming at all times.
• Work hands-on on the floor and drive smooth service.

Our client is a boutique resort with 30+ rooms and 2 F&B outlets.

This role will be reporting directly to the Executive Chef.

Please note that this position is available for Indonesian Nationals only.
