Job summary

PT Pupuk Kelapa Sawit Jaya (PKSJ Group) in Medan is seeking an Executive – Finance & Accounts to manage day-to-day accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting. You will oversee freight-related costs and Incoterms, and collaborate with HQ in Malaysia on payroll and admin matters.

The role requires a finance/Accounting degree, knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, and strong English skills to liaise across borders. MS Excel/Word expertise and willingness to travel are key assets.

Qualifications

Job description

An Executive – Finance & Accounts role in Medan with PT Pupuk Kelapa Sawit Jaya (PKSJ Group). This is a detail-oriented, multi-faceted position that bridges finance, tax compliance, shipping logistics, and cross-border collaboration with the Malaysia HQ.

Key responsibilities

Day-to-day accounting, bank reconciliation, financial reporting, and managing monthly/annual Indonesian tax compliance

Tracking freight costs, demurrage, port/customs charges, and managing Incoterms/shipment statuses

Coordinating recruitment, processing payroll data for HQ, managing staff welfare, and handling legal/admin documentation

About you

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

Practical knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations

Good command of spoken and written English to liaise with HQ in Malaysia

Proficient in MS Excel and Word

Exposure to shipping, logistics, or import/export is a huge plus

Valid passport and willingness to travel to HQ in Malaysia when needed
