The company specializes in modern farming operations that integrate advanced production systems, feed manufacturing, livestock management, supply chain optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives. Through continuous investment in automation, biosecurity standards, and sustainable production practices, the organization aims to strengthen food production capabilities while maintaining high operational and financial performance standards.

The company operates multiple production sites and complex agricultural supply chains, creating a business environment that requires strong financial governance, accurate biological asset management, disciplined cost control, and effective treasury oversight. As the business continues to expand, the organization is seeking experienced finance professionals who can support operational growth, strengthen financial controls, improve reporting accuracy, and ensure compliance across a multi-site agricultural operation.

Job Role

This role plays a critical position in ensuring the integrity of financial information, supporting operational decision-making, and maintaining effective financial controls within a complex production environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, operational leaders, external auditors, and regulatory stakeholders to manage accounting processes, monitor production costs, oversee biological asset reporting, and support strategic financial planning. This position is highly suitable for finance professionals with strong experience in agribusiness, livestock operations, food manufacturing, agricultural production, or other operationally intensive industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, production cost analyses, budget performance reports, and profitability assessments.
  • Oversee accounting treatment and reporting of biological assets, inventory movements, production activities, and operational expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation regulations, statutory requirements, and internal governance policies.
  • Monitor operational costs, raw material expenditures, production efficiency metrics, and budget performance to identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Analyze feed production costs, supply chain expenses, logistics expenditures, and inventory utilization to improve overall financial performance.
  • Support treasury management activities, including cash flow forecasting, working capital management, payment controls, and funding requirements across operational sites.
  • Establish and strengthen internal controls to ensure transparency, accountability, and accuracy of financial transactions and operational reporting.
  • Lead external audit engagements and coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, government agencies, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Monitor taxation developments, import-related financial implications, operational compliance requirements, and other regulatory matters affecting the business.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management regarding operational efficiency, investment decisions, cost structures, and business expansion initiatives.
  • Support strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance improvement programs across multiple business units.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, Ak., or equivalent qualifications are highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Financial Control, Audit, or related financial management functions.
  • Proven experience within Agribusiness, Livestock Operations, Poultry, Food Manufacturing, Agricultural Production, FMCG Manufacturing, or other production-based industries.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, treasury management, and internal control frameworks.
  • Experience managing operational cost structures, inventory accounting, production accounting, and multi-site financial reporting environments.
  • Knowledge of biological asset accounting, agricultural inventory management, or agricultural financial reporting standards is highly preferred.
  • Experience leading external audits and coordinating with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies.
