Job summary

The Luxury Collection Bali is seeking an experienced Head of Kitchen to oversee all aspects of our restaurant’s culinary operations. You will lead a talented team, develop menus, manage purchasing, and ensure impeccable food quality and service in a luxury setting.

Ideal candidates bring 7–10 years of progressive culinary experience in luxury hotels or fine-dining, HACCP certification, and a track record of maintaining budgets while delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Qualifications

• Must hold a culinary degree or diploma and possess HACCP/food safety certification.
• Extensive experience in luxury hotel or fine-dining culinary environments.
• Leadership of kitchen teams with budget and menu development responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage restaurant kitchen operations, ensuring high standards.
• Develop menus, plan production, and monitor quality and portioning.
• Train and supervise culinary staff; maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Oversee purchasing, cost controls, and inventory management.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and consistent food presentation.

Education

Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field

Professional culinary certification preferred

HACCP and Food Safety Certification required

Specialty cuisine certifications advantageous

7-10 years of progressive culinary experience

3 years as Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a specialty restaurant

Experience in luxury hotels or fine-dining concepts

Pre-opening experience preferred

Experience with celebrity chef or Michelin-inspired concepts an advantage
