Job summary

Leapfactor helps factories in Indonesia stop guessing and start measuring, building ERP, MES, and Industrial IoT systems. You will start by working on-site with our team, then lead projects independently.

• Able to write clearly and coherently; English docs reading is required.

• Visit client factories, observe processes, and interview operators.
• Map current processes and define target processes with clients.
• Write requirements that developers can execute.
• Translate manufacturing processes into ERP configuration.
• Support testing, train users, and support go-live.
• Help define data needs for MES and IIoT projects.

Job description

You will be a translator between the production floor and the technical team. You will ensure that the systems we build are truly used, not just completed. Your first one to two months will be spent working alongside our team. After that, you will lead projects independently.

Key responsibilities

• Visit client factories, observe processes, and interview people running them
• Map current processes and develop target processes together with clients
• Write requirements documents that can be directly executed by the developer team
• Translate manufacturing processes into ERP configuration
• Support testing, train client users, and accompany go-live
• Participate in defining requirements for MES and IIoT projects: what data is captured from machines and for what decisions

About you

• Minimum 1 year of full-time work experience in implementation and support of business systems (ERP, MES, WMS, internal systems)
• Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar field
• Able to write clearly and coherently. This is a large part of the work, not supplementary
• Written English sufficient to read technical documentation
• Willing to travel on business trips to client factories outside the city several times a year
• Not a fresh graduate; must have seen how work actually runs in the field
