Mubadala Energy is seeking an Engineer, Environmental & ESG for Jakarta project site. You will support environmental permitting, ESG reporting, and decarbonization efforts, aligning with Indonesian regulations and Mubadala ESG standards.

The role requires 3–8 years of environmental/ESG experience, knowledge of GHG accounting, and fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia. The position is a third-party contractor based in Jakarta or on site as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 3–8 years' experience in environmental/ESG roles in oil & gas or energy sector.
• Experience with GHG accounting and ESG frameworks.
• Knowledge of Indonesian environmental regulations (PP 22/2021, PermenLHK, etc.)
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsabilités

• Support environmental permitting (AMDAL, technical approvals: air emission, wastewater, B3 waste)
• Monitor regulatory compliance and maintain compliance registers
• Support GHG emissions inventory, reporting, and decarbonization roadmap
• Assist ESG reporting, KPI tracking, and audit/assurance readiness
• Support ESG materiality assessment and stakeholder engagement
• Assist ESG risk integration into ERM framework
• Maintain ESG datasets and digital reporting tools
• Support ESG policy development and training programs
