We are looking for a strong and experienced Entertainment & Recreation Manager to lead the Entertainment & Recreation function within our Business Unit.
This role is responsible for setting clear direction, standards, and priorities while building a strong and accountable team. The position will oversee live shows, entertainment programs, attraction experiences, recreation, and guest experiences, ensuring consistent quality, operational readiness, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the Entertainment & Recreation vision, annual plan, priorities, and 1–3 year development roadmap.
- Translate Business Unit objectives into clear KPIs, programs, accountability, and improvement priorities.
- Build a strong organization through team structure, leadership development, succession planning, coaching, performance management, and an accountable culture.
Entertainment, Shows & Attraction Experience
- Ensure live shows and entertainment programs meet high standards of quality, consistency, readiness, safety, and relevance.
- Oversee the full show lifecycle, from planning, production, rehearsal, performer and crew management, and technical coordination through live operations and evaluation.
- Regularly evaluate programs and determine whether they should be maintained, improved, refreshed, redeveloped, replaced, or discontinued.
- Work closely with Technical, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure scenic elements, media, lighting, audio, props, interactive elements, and supporting assets have clear maintenance, inspection, and operational-readiness plans.
- Drive innovation and enhancements that increase guest engagement, participation, memorability, dwell time, and overall experience while considering feasibility, safety, and budget.
Operations, Guest Experience & Resources
- Develop a balanced portfolio of live shows, roaming/street entertainment, recreation, seasonal activations, special events, and interactive guest experiences.
- Use guest feedback, observations, and operational data to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ensure manpower, rosters, show and rehearsal schedules, SOPs, contingency plans, budgets, vendors, and daily operational readiness are effectively managed.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in entertainment, live shows, theme parks/attractions, show production, recreation, TV/live production, or live-event entertainment.
- Minimum 3 years of team/function leadership experience, with direct responsibility for people, performance, planning, and operations.
- Strong practical understanding of live-show and entertainment operations, beyond project, content, or vendor management.
- Strong strategic thinking, people leadership, decision‑making, stakeholder management, and operational discipline.
- Ability to establish a clear vision and direction and translate it into realistic and executable plans.
