TRANS STUDIO CIBUBUR is seeking a General Manager of Engineering with extensive theme park experience to lead a large engineering organization. You will oversee maintenance, CAPEX projects, and critical systems across attractions and facilities.
Ideal candidates bring a strong record in leadership, safety, asset management, and cross-functional collaboration, and can navigate a dynamic park environment including weekends and on-call scenarios.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Engineering, Maintenance, Facility Management, or Technical Operations.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial or senior leadership position.
Proven experience in a theme park is required, preferably in a senior engineering, maintenance, or technical management role.
Strong understanding and hands‑on experience in theme park engineering operations, attractions, facilities, and technical systems.
Extensive knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, electrical systems, mechanical systems, plumbing, building infrastructure, and preventive & corrective maintenance.
Experience in managing the maintenance, reliability, and operational readiness of theme park attractions and facilities.
Strong knowledge of engineering safety, fire & life safety systems, emergency response, risk management, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Proven experience in managing CAPEX projects, renovations, equipment upgrades, engineering improvement projects, and major maintenance programs.
Strong ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies, asset management programs, and engineering standards.
Experienced in budget planning, cost control, procurement, vendor management, and contract management.
Strong leadership skills with proven ability to lead, develop, and manage a large multidisciplinary engineering team.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, decision‑making, and crisis‑management skills.
Strong ability to collaborate with Operations, Safety & Security, Project, Finance, HR, and other cross‑functional teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering, maintenance, or facility management systems/software.
Willing to work in a dynamic theme park environment, including weekends, public holidays, and on‑call situations when required.
Professional engineering certification or relevant technical certification will be considered an advantage.
