Job summary

Dealls – Jobs, CV & Mentoring is seeking a tech leader to manage a team of engineers and collaborate with the VP of Products, Product Manager and Business Development to drive product initiatives. You will contribute to engineering excellence, solve production issues per SLA, and draft RFCs for complex initiatives while mentoring engineers and supporting a scalable onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership roles.
• Minimum 4 years of backend development, with Node.js and Go.
• Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms, OS, networks, databases).
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix development environments.
• GCP knowledge is a plus.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Knowledge of Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience in system architecture design for scalable and highly available services.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of bright & passionate engineers.
• Collaborate with VP of Products, Product Manager & Business Development to ensure department’s product initiatives can be achieved.
• Contribute to day-to-day engineering excellence and solve production issues per SLA.
• Create an RFC for complex initiatives and own the execution deliverables.
• Nurture engineers with regular sharing sessions, learning modules, and onboarding processes.
• Actively contribute to the hiring process: screen, interview, and develop a sustainable recruitment system.
• Contribute to system design for highly scalable and highly available services.
