Job summary

Dealls (YC W22) in Yogyakarta is seeking an experienced engineering lead to manage a team of backend engineers. You will work closely with the VP of Products, Product Manager and Business Development to ensure department initiatives are achieved and production issues are resolved per SLA.

You will drive RFCs, guide system design for scalable, highly available services, and nurture engineers via learning modules and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of backend experience with leadership in teams.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and data structures.
• Proficient in Node.js and Golang with exposure to scalable systems.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
• Nice to have knowledge of GCP.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers and align with VP of Products, Product Manager & BD to achieve departmental initiatives.
• Contribute to day-to-day engineering excellence and resolve production issues per SLA.
• Create RFCs for complex initiatives and ensure execution deliverables.
• Mentor engineers through regular sharing sessions and learning modules; contribute to onboarding.
• Involve actively in the hiring process: screen, interview & develop recruitment processes.
• Contribute to system design to enable highly scalable and highly available services.
