Job summary

Colgate is seeking an Intern - Engineering (Facility Operations) to join our global manufacturing team in Selangor, Malaysia. You'll work on validating equipment, mapping processes, and creating technical playbooks while learning on the shop floor.

Under the guidance of a Facilities Engineer, you'll gain hands-on experience in IQ/OQ, process flows, SOPs, and data collection using Google Workspace tools, contributing to plant performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with CGPA 3.2+ preferred
• Analytical and curious mindset with willingness to work on the shop floor
• Digital agility and ability to use Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Slides, Forms)

Responsibilities

• Master Equipment Validation (IQ/OQ): assist in implementing and improving IQ/OQ to ensure machinery is installed correctly and operates at peak performance
• Process Flow Architecture: map and analyze technical process flows to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities
• Technical Playbook Creation: develop SOPs and engineering documentation for daily use by technicians
• Data-Driven Engineering: support data collection and update engineering databases using digital tools
