Job summary

PT. Global Jet Express (J&T Express) is seeking a qualified Drafter to support gateway construction projects from initiation through closing, ensuring smooth progression and quality control.

The role requires reviewing MEP drawings, verifying design compatibility with operational needs, preparing BoQ calculations, and coordinating with contractors. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Enscape is preferred; Mandarin skills are a plus. Willingness to travel and work overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Experience as a Drafter is advantageous.
• Willing to travel for business trips and work overtime when required.
• Able to prepare and calculate Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp; Enscape is a plus.
• Mandarin proficiency (spoken and written) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle gateway construction projects from initiation to closing.
• Quality control on ongoing projects and ensure smooth progress.

Job description

• To handle Gateway construction Projects (Starting from Initiation to Closing Phase).
• Quality Control on ongoing Projects and ensure the Projects run smoothly.
• Coordinate with contractor regarding ongoing project progress.
• To check all MEP drawings and ensure the MEP design can accommodate operational activities.
• To make sure all MEP installations according to design and requirement.
• To monitor the Testing and Commisioning for the MEP Installations.
• Supervise ongoing projects and ensure the project runs according to the design and timeline.
• Provide solutions quickly and efficiently if problems occur in ongoing projects.
• Manage the administrative and field flow of the project if delays occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Check all Renovation and Construction BAST.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Previous experience as a Drafter will be considered an advantage.
• Willing to work overtime and travel for business trips when required.
• Able to prepare and calculate Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp; proficiency in Enscape is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering and building construction calculations.
• Mandarin proficiency (both spoken and written) is preferred.
