Job summary

PT. Wonderlab is seeking a proactive maintenance technician to ensure all facilities and equipment are safe, functional, and ready for daily operations.

You will conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, document work reports, and coordinate with operations and vendors to minimize downtime. Your responsibilities include daily inspections, basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, keeping tools and spare parts inventory, and maintaining a safe work environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

  • Education in engineering field (SMK/D3) required, preferably electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics.
  • 1–2 years maintenance or technician experience; fresh graduates considered.
  • Basic electrical systems knowledge (wiring, MCB, sockets, switches, lighting).
  • Basic mechanical systems knowledge (bearings, pulleys, belts, bolts).
  • Able to use a multimeter and common hand tools.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily inspections before playground opening.
  • Perform preventive maintenance per schedule.
  • Address damage reports quickly with Operations/Playground Crew.
  • Troubleshoot to decide internal repair vs vendor support.
  • Create maintenance reports and track spare parts use.
  • Maintain tools and parts inventory.
  • Monitor equipment condition and damage history.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Management, Security, and vendors.
  • Keep work areas safe and minimize disruption to customers.
  • Take immediate action on hazardous equipment.

Job description

Responsible for ensuring all Wonderlab facilities, equipment, electrical, mechanical, and supporting areas are in safe condition, functioning properly, clean, and ready for use, as well as conducting preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize operational downtime.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct daily inspection before playground opening
  • Perform preventive maintenance based on maintenance schedule
  • Handle damage reports from Operations/Playground Crew quickly
  • Troubleshoot and determine whether damage can be repaired internally or requires vendor support
  • Create maintenance work reports and spare parts usage documentation
  • Maintain inventory of tools and spare parts
  • Monitor equipment condition and record damage history
  • Coordinate with Operations, Management, Security, and vendors regarding technical work
  • Ensure work area remains safe and does not disrupt customer activities
  • Perform immediate action on equipment that poses potential hazard to customers
About you
  • Minimum SMK/D3 education in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience as technician, maintenance, engineering, building maintenance, playground, entertainment center, mall, hotel, or similar field
  • Fresh graduates with practical/internship experience in engineering field may be considered
  • Understand basic electrical systems including wiring, MCB, socket, switch, lighting, power supply, and basic electrical troubleshooting
  • Understand basic mechanical systems including bearing, pulley, belt, bolt, hinge, wheel, and other mechanical components
  • Able to use technician tools such as multimeter, test pen, screwdriver, wrench, drill, solder, and hand tools
  • Able to troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment
  • Able to perform minor repair and replacement of damaged components
  • Understand basic safe use of power tools
  • Understand basic playground safety and child safety principles
  • Able to identify potential hazards such as loose bolts, sharp edges, structural cracks, exposed cables, electrical hazards, damaged floor surfaces, unstable equipment, and worn or broken components
  • Understand basic Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) principles for maintenance work requiring energy isolation
  • Willing to work with shift system, weekends, and public holidays
