Job summary

Responsibilities

Teknisi IKR (Instalasi Kabel Rumah) responsible for installing and maintaining residential cable networks, including fiber optic (FTTH) installations, network configuration, and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

Install and configure residential network cables and equipment

Perform fiber optic (FTTH) cable installations, including dropcore cable placement and splicing

Test and verify network installations using power meters or OTDR equipment

Troubleshoot network issues and resolve connectivity problems

Communicate with customers and provide technical support

Use and maintain technician tools including crimping tools, cable testers, ladders, and safety equipment

Work at heights and in field locations across assigned areas

About you

Physically fit and comfortable working at heights

Good communication skills when serving customers

Understanding of computer network basics such as IP address, router, modem, and network device configuration

Understanding of fiber optic basics (FTTH), including dropcore cable installation, splicing, and network testing

Ability to use technician equipment such as crimping tools, cable testers, ladders, and safety equipment

SIM C (driving license) valued due to high job mobility

Experience as a network technician, FTTH technician, or similar role is an advantage

Experience using fiber optic network testing equipment such as Optical Power Meter or OTDR is an advantage
