Job summary

Evermos in Bandung, Indonesia seeks an experienced professional to lead end-to-end apparel product development and sourcing. You will manage supplier relationships, cost analyses, and BOMs to ensure on-time launches and maintain margins.

The role requires 3+ years in apparel development, strong Excel/ERP skills, and collaboration with Design/R&D to translate market trends into actionable development requirements. Proficiency in English is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in fashion/product development/merchandising or related field.
At least 3 years hands-on experience in apparel product development, merchandising, sourcing, or related functions.
Experience in activewear or performance apparel with end-to-end sourcing and import processes including PO, Incoterms, freight, customs, and landed costs.
Ability to review tech packs, measurement specs, and construction details and provide practical feedback on materials, fit, quality, and feasibility.
Experience building BOMs, cost analyses, should-cost models, and identifying key cost drivers (fabric, wastage, trims, CMT).
Strong network with Indonesian garment manufacturers, knitwear vendors, fabric mills, and sourcing agents in Bandung, Solo, Surabaya, Jakarta.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for costing, analysis, and planning; ERP/PLM tools a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to work with internal teams and external vendors.
English proficiency; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end product development from design brief to production readiness and on-time launches.
Source and maintain relationships with local and import fabric, trims, and garment suppliers; ensure dual sourcing for core SKUs.
Support supplier negotiations on pricing, MOQs, lead times, payment terms, and production capacity to meet cost/margin targets.
Develop and maintain product costing and BOM per SKU including fabric consumption, trims, CMT, wastage, freight, and duty; seek cost improvements.
Drive cost optimization through fabric consolidation, material utilization, trim standardization, and sourcing strategies while preserving quality and margins.
Evaluate local vs import sourcing strategies based on landed cost, MOQs, lead times, quality, and working capital.
Collaborate with Design and R&D to translate market trends into material and development requirements.
Maintain material library with fabric references, specs, and supplier capabilities; validate material performance before production commitment.
Own end-to-end timeline for samples, material readiness, production planning, and supplier coordination for on-time launches and replenishment.
Work with Planning/Inventory to align forecasts, MOQs, and production plans to optimize inventory and reduce stockouts.
Monitor product availability and perform root-cause analysis for recurring stockouts; drive corrective actions.
Define and implement QA standards including AQL, sample approvals, and pre-production validation.
Partner with suppliers and stakeholders to investigate quality issues and production challenges; drive long-term corrective actions.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve sourcing efficiency, supplier performance, product quality, speed-to-market.
