Job summary

The Langham Jakarta is seeking a skilled Banquet Kitchen Chinese Sous Chef to lead high-end banquet kitchens. This role requires preparing authentic Chinese banquet dishes, ensuring HACCP compliance, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a luxury hotel setting.

You will collaborate with the culinary team, develop special Mandarin menus for functions, manage food costs, and mentor junior staff. Diploma in Culinary Management preferred; English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as similar position in Luxury Hotel or Premium Restaurants.
• Good understanding in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point).
• Diploma is required. Degree in Culinary management is preferable
• Ability to develop special Chinese menus for functions
• Has knowledge and understand to food cost
• Understand English both verbally and writing
