Job summary

Cognex in Batam, Indonesia is seeking a Triage and Repair Technician to support QA/NPI by diagnosing electrical issues and repairing returned units. You will collaborate with Design, Process, Test and Manufacturing Engineering to identify root causes and improve product quality.

The role requires hands-on debugging of embedded systems, basic soldering, and strong English communication in a fast-paced, team-driven environment on site at Panbil Industrial Estate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical product debugging experience, preferably with commercial embedded systems.
• Familiar with electrical hardware debugging and basic soldering.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate product failures to identify root causes.
• Repair and refurbish return products for customers.
• Assist Engineering with product/PCBA debugging and performance verification.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
