Job summary

IBMC in Batam, Indonesia, is launching a new state-of-the-art production facility and seeks a Production Technician (TE) to secure maximum line uptime and hardware integrity on-site.

You will perform advanced floor-level troubleshooting, PCB fault diagnosis, and immediate corrective maintenance under international technical direction, collaborating with the Dubai-based engineering team and assembly operators to optimize tool usage and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or electrical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electronics architecture and measurement tools.
• Experience with PCB fault diagnosis and hardware troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware glitches on the production floor.
• Perform PCB-level fault diagnosis to locate defects.
• Follow direct technical direction from the Dubai engineering team to maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with assembly operators to reduce line downtime and optimize tool usage.
• Maintain meticulous logs of defects, recurring issues, and resolutions for process improvement.
