Job summary

PT Grand Indonesia is seeking an Electrical Technician to operate, inspect, and monitor electrical distribution systems in its facilities. The role includes preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure safety and reliability across commercial buildings and hotels.

Candidates should have a Vocational High School diploma in Electrical Power Engineering, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with LOTO procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Vocational High School diploma in Electrical Power Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in commercial buildings, shopping malls, hotels, or industrial facilities.
• Good understanding of Operational & Maintenance MV/LV electrical power distribution systems, including operation, inspection, and maintenance.
• Able to read electrical single-line and wiring diagrams.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of preventive and corrective electrical maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• K3 Listrik or other relevant electrical competency certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operation, inspection, and monitoring of electrical distribution systems.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment and installations.
• Perform troubleshooting, identify electrical system abnormalities and implement corrective actions as required.
• Support maintenance of transformers, switchgear, UPS, and distribution panels.
• Conduct equipment condition monitoring and support predictive maintenance initiatives.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with electrical safety standards, SOPs, and HSE requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection checklists, and service reports.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical safety and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
