Gea Group seeks an experienced Automation & Electrical Engineer to lead project execution from contract signing to completion. You will manage complex projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure safety and quality while traveling extensively across SEA, with possible APAC extension.

The role demands strong PLC/HMI/SCADA skills, LV/MV knowledge, and hands-on commissioning experience in process industries.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
3–5 years in electrical engineering, automation, and control systems in food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, or process industries.
Strong knowledge of LV and MV systems, motor control, instrumentation, and power distribution.
Hands-on experience in automation and control systems design, programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

Responsabilités

Lead the implementation of automation & electrical engineering activities for projects from contract signing to completion.
Ensure project delivery on time, on quality, and within budget, driving high customer satisfaction.
Handle technically complex projects (2–8 projects per year).
Apply, implement, and monitor adherence to the agreed project methodology.
Travel and commissioning: ~45% of the year; projects mainly in SEA with possible APAC extension.
Work independently or coordinate with other engineers depending on project size.
