Job summary
Polyplex is seeking an experienced Engineering Head to lead Electrical, Mechanical, Utilities, Projects, Reliability, and Automation within a large-scale manufacturing plant in Indonesia. The role demands hands-on leadership, deep expertise in electronics, automation, PLCs, VFDs, and SCADA, and a proven track record in keeping complex equipment available and compliant.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electronics/electrical/instrumentation/mechatronics engineering.
- 14–20 years in manufacturing industries.
- Minimum 8 years in a leadership role managing plant maintenance/engineering teams.
- Strong experience with PLC, VFD/drives, SCADA and industrial automation.
- Experience in continuous process manufacturing (BOPET/BOPP or similar).
Responsibilities
- Lead Electrical, Mechanical, Utilities, Reliability, Projects and Automation departments.
- Ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability for continuous plant operation.
- Troubleshoot and modify PLC, VFD, servo drives, SCADA, HMI, and industrial control systems.
- Collaborate with Production to minimize downtime and improve plant efficiency.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance.
- Lead root cause analysis for major equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Manage annual maintenance shutdowns and engineer project delivery.
- Develop maintenance strategies to improve machine reliability and reduce costs.
- Prepare and control budgets, spare parts inventory, and maintenance costs.
- Ensure statutory, environmental, and safety compliance.
- Drive engineering projects, upgrades, and energy-saving initiatives.
- Mentor engineering teams and foster safety and continuous improvement culture.
- Manage OEMs, contractors, and engineering service providers.
