Job summary

PT Dover Chemical in Merak, Banten invites an Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control Supervisor with 10+ years in maintenance to join our on-site team. You will lead the EIC technicians, supervise contractor performance, and ensure spare parts availability for critical operations.

The role requires PLC/DCS expertise, SIS/SIL understanding, and proficiency with calibration and diagnostic tools. ISO 9001/14001/45001 experience is valued, and relocation to Merak is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience as an EIC Supervisor.
• Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Electrical, Physics/Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering preferred.
• Proficient in PLC/DCS programming, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Advanced proficiency in calibration, testing, and measurement tools (HART Communicators, Dead Load Testing Equipment, Signal Generators).
• Capable of Control System Optimization and Alarm Management.
• Strong understanding of Process Safety and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS / SIL).
• Able to read, interpret, and redline P&IDs, SLDs, Loop Drawings, and Wiring/Schematic Diagrams.

Serve as the primary technical escalation point for analyzing breakdowns within electrical and automation systems.

Manage work schedules and develop the technical competencies of the EIC technician team.

Supervise and ensure performance compliance of contractors/vendors on-site.

Manage the availability of critical spare parts to support operational requirements.

Requirement :

Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance, specifically as an EIC Supervisor.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Engineering (Electrical, Physics/Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering preferred).

Proficient in PLC/DCS programming, integration, and troubleshooting.

Advanced proficiency in calibration, testing, and utilizing measurement tools (such as HART Communicators, Dead Load Testing Equipment, and Signal Generators).

Capable of performing Control System Optimization & Alarm Management.

Possess a strong understanding of Process Safety and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS / SIL).

Proficient in reading, interpreting, and redlining technical documentation, including P&IDs, Single-Line Diagrams (SLD), Loop Drawings, and Wiring/Schematic Diagrams.

Sharp logical analysis skills for tracing faults or signal disturbances from field devices up to the controller.

Proficient in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Power Distribution Systems (HV/LV).

Experienced in the configuration, installation, and repair of Variable Speed Drives (VSD/VFD) and industrial electric motors.

Proven experience in leading technician teams, scheduling maintenance activities (preventive/corrective), and supervising contractor/vendor execution.

Capable of managing EIC modification projects, spare parts management, and commissioning new equipment.

Highly conscious of HSE implementation, including Permit to Work (PTW) systems and LOTO (Lockout - Tag Out) protocols.

Proficient in the maintenance of online field analytical instruments, such as O2 Analyzers and Gas Detectors.

Willing to be placed in Merak, Banten.
