PT SMART Tbk is seeking an Instrument Supervisor to oversee installation, loop checking, calibration, testing and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems. The role ensures compliance with OSHA, IEC, PUIL, and internal HSE requirements while maintaining safe, reliable plant operations.

You will lead maintenance planning, troubleshoot complex equipment, and mentor junior engineers. Proactive supervision of contractors during shutdowns and projects is required to achieve targets.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of E&I experience in manufacturing or process industries.
• Familiar with OSHA, IEC, PUIL, K3 Listrik and related safety standards.
• Experience using SAP for maintenance planning and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.

Job Description

Oversee loop checking, calibration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of new and existing electrical and instrumentation equipment.

Ensure all electrical and instrumentation activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols (e.g., OSHA, IEC, National Electrical Code, PUIL, and company HSE requirements).

Troubleshoot complex electrical and instrumentation equipment, control systems, and plant utilities to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.

Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and operational safety.

Coordinate and supervise contractors, technicians, and project teams during maintenance, shutdown, and commissioning activities.

Develop, review, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs for electrical and instrumentation systems.

Prepare work programs, maintenance plans, technical documentation, and reports using SAP.

Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and maintenance activities while meeting quality, safety, and operational targets.

Mentor, coach, and train junior engineers and technicians to strengthen technical competency and team capability.

Support emergency breakdown and provide technical assistance outside regular working hours when required.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) within manufacturing or process industries.

Familiar with relevant safety standards and regulations (OSHA, IEC, PUIL, K3 Listrik, etc.).

Experience using SAP for maintenance planning and reporting.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
