Job summary

PT SMART Tbk is seeking an Instrument Supervisor to oversee installation, loop checking, calibration, testing and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems. The role ensures compliance with OSHA, IEC, PUIL, and internal HSE requirements while maintaining safe, reliable plant operations.

You will lead maintenance planning, troubleshoot complex equipment, and mentor junior engineers. Proactive supervision of contractors during shutdowns and projects is required to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of E&I experience in manufacturing or process industries.
• Familiar with OSHA, IEC, PUIL, K3 Listrik and related safety standards.
• Experience using SAP for maintenance planning and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, loop checking, calibration, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Ensure all activities comply with industry standards, regulations and safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot complex E&I equipment, control systems and plant utilities to identify root causes.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, technicians, and project teams during maintenance and commissioning.
• Develop, review and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
