Job summary

Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee and coordinate maintenance of electrical equipment in our palm oil production facilities in Indonesia. You will ensure preventive maintenance, troubleshoot systems, and lead a team in delivering safe, compliant operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 3–5 years of maintenance experience, with SAP familiarity and knowledge of safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance in manufacturing or palm oil.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and planning.
• Familiar with SAP and maintenance management systems.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and quality management systems (ISO 9001:2000, ISO 22000:2005, Halal, ISCC, RSPO) is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor electrical maintenance to meet target timelines and results.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and repairs keep electrical equipment in schedule.
• Maintain all work equipment and hygiene of the environment.
• Coordinate project implementations within the scope of work.
• Verify PRP/Deep Cleaning effectiveness and initiate corrective actions if deviations occur.
• Ensure compliance with Safety Regulations and SAP accuracy.
• Implement quality management systems (ISO 9001:2000, ISO 22000:2005, etc.).
• Lead, develop, and coach employees in the electrical section.
• Review, evaluate and submit monthly reports.
• Recommend improvements from reports of officers/foremen.

Job Description Summary:

Manage and coordinate to ensure the implementation of maintenance and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment to support the smooth running of the production process.

Job Description:

• Coordinate and monitor the implementation of electrical maintenance in accordance to the target time and results.
• Monitor and ensure the running of preventive maintenance and maintenance of existing electrical equipment is on schedule.
• Maintain all work equipment and environment hygiene.
• Coordinate the implementation of projects related to the scope of work.
• Verify the implementation of PRP and Deep Cleaning is running effectively, and ensure corrective action is carried out when deviations occur.
• Run Safety Regulation in accordance with applicable policies.
• Ensure the smoothness and accuracy of the SAP.
• Implementing quality management system (ISO 9001: 2000, ISO 22000: 2005, etc.)
• Conduct improvements by modifying electrical equipment/machinery.
• Lead, develop and ensure the disciple of employees in the electrical section.
• Review, evaluate and submit monthly report.
• Recommend improvements (if any) related to reports from officers / foreman.

Job Requirements:

• Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or any related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in palm oil manufacturing or related production environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning.
• Familiar with SAP and maintenance management systems.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards, quality management system and relevant certifications (ISO 9001: 2000, ISO 22000: 2005, Halal, SMK3, ISCC system, RSPO, SMART D_Safe, OHSAS 18001, HACCP) is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
