Job summary

StarCharge APAC in Jakarta is seeking a seasoned field service engineer to respond promptly to customer service calls, perform on-site inspections and emergency repairs to minimize downtime. You will test EV chargers during and after installation, conduct preventive maintenance, document service activities for traceability, and coordinate with HQ to ensure timely root-cause resolution.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer service calls to troubleshoot technical issues and perform on-site inspections and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Conduct testing of various types of EV charger during and after installation, ensuring proper commissioning procedures are followed.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and proactively identify and report technical abnormalities.
• Effectively communicate with HQ colleagues to ensure timely root cause identification and resolution of technical issues.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment and system faults effectively.
• Manage service partners, including onboarding and refresher training, case assignments, and periodic performance evaluations based on service KPIs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of service activities to ensure full traceability.
• Manage spare parts inventory to ensure sufficient stock levels for smooth operations.
• Maintain daily communication with customers to provide updates, ensure issue resolution, and follow up appropriately.
