Job summary

PT. Solusi Energi Terbarukan in Indonesia seeks a skilled PLTS design engineer to design and calculate capacity and prepare technical drawings for client projects.

The role involves analyzing and troubleshooting installed systems, installing and commissioning solar modules, inverters, and batteries, and using tests such as Multimeter, Clamp Meter, Earth Tester, and Thermal Camera. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• S1 degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years PLTS experience.
• Knowledge of On Grid, Off Grid, Hybrid systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and PV design tools.
• SIM A/C license and travel willingness.

Job description

Design and calculate optimal PLTS (Solar PV) system capacity and technical drawings for clients. Analyze and troubleshoot issues in installed systems. Install and commission electrical components of PLTS systems including solar modules, inverters, and batteries. Use testing equipment such as Multimeter, Clamp Meter, Earth Tester, and Thermal Camera for commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Design and calculate capacity and technical drawings for optimal PLTS systems for clients
• Able to answer client questions related to PLTS and interconnection
• Analyze and troubleshoot problems in installed systems
• Install and commission electrical components of PLTS systems such as solar modules, inverters, and batteries
• Use testing tools including Multimeter, Clamp Meter, Earth Tester, and Thermal Camera for commissioning

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Electrical Engineering (High Current) / Renewable Energy or related field
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in PLTS field
• Understand PLTS systems: On Grid, Off Grid, Hybrid in capacity calculations and technical drawings
• Able to operate computer and applications such as MS Office/Google Workspace, AutoCAD, PVSyst/Helioscope
• Able to work carefully in teams and individually under pressure
• Possess active SIM A and/or SIM C
• Willing to be placed at various project locations if needed
• Desire to learn, results-oriented, disciplined and proactive
