Job description

PT Simpang Kanan Lestarindo, a subsidiary of the Mewah Group located in Rokan Hilir, Riau, Indonesia, is one of a leading palm oil Mill manufacturer poised to emerge as a major global producer in the palm oil industry.

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to provide support for our manufacturing operations.

In this position, we need you to play vital role in:

Monitoring and control of maintenance for all mills’ electrical & automation panels.

Explore opportunities to fully automate the mills.

Monthly inspection to all mills to ensure electrical maintenance are carried out by the mill maintenance team without fail.

Training of the electrical team on site to ensure they are competent and having sufficient know-how skill to maintain the panels.

Monitor the electrical maintenance in all mills to ensure there is no breakdown incurred due to electrical problems.

Weekly review the preventive maintenance program and advise accordingly to the electrical team so that any problem arisen can be resolved in the shortest time possible.

Chargeman – Day-to-day operation on electrical & automation maintenance.

Assistants & Managers – Improvement Capex planning.

What you will need to succeed in this role:

Minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering or a related field in Automation. Strong proficiency in computers and networking systems. Proficiency in English is required.

At least 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical and automation systems for palm oil mills, either on-site or through contractor roles.

Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), capable of writing and modifying automation programs in PLC/SCADA, and experienced in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical panels, automation components, and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with palm oil mill processes is essential.

Demonstrates consistency in performing routine tasks and preparing reports, strong self-discipline, a high sense of responsibility, and an innovative mindset. Exhibits strong teamwork abilities.

Possesses a strong sense of engineering, enabling effective problem-solving and decision-making in technical environments.
