Job summary

BS Group International is seeking an Electrical / Electronic Technician to assist installation wiring termination and commissioning of electrical, electronic and instrumentation systems. You will support PLC panels, control panels, sensors, transmitters and field instruments under engineer supervision and perform routine inspection and troubleshooting of equipment.

• Proven ability to assist installation wiring termination and commissioning
• Experience supporting PLC panels, control panels, sensors, transmitters and field instruments under supervision
• Perform routine inspection, testing and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic equipment
• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety
• Maintain technical records, inspection checklists and maintenance logs

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation wiring termination and commissioning of electrical, electronic and instrumentation systems
• Support PLC panels, control panels, sensors, transmitters and field instruments under engineer supervision
• Perform routine inspection, testing and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic equipment
• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and operational safety
• Provide on-site technical support during installation, commissioning and shutdown activities
• Maintain technical records, inspection checklists and maintenance logs
• Ensure compliance with IEC standards, company procedures and safety regulations
• Adhere to HSE policies, PPE requirements and permit to work procedures
• Operate confidently in industrial onshore and offshore environments; 1–4 years hands-on experience as Electrical/Electronic Technician
• Oil & gas industry experience is highly preferred

• Perform routine inspection testing and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic equipment
• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and operational safety
• Provide on site technical support during installation commissioning and shutdown activities
• Maintain technical records inspection checklists and maintenance logs
• Ensure compliance with IEC standards company procedures and Qatari safety regulations
• Adhere strictly to HSE policies PPE requirements and permit to work procedures
• Operate confidently in industrial onshore and offshore environments 1–4 years of hands‑on experience as an Electrical / Electronic Technician in industrial or similar environments.
• Oil & gas industry experience is highly preferred.
