Job summary
PT URC Indonesia is seeking an Electrical/Automation Engineer to troubleshoot and repair machine control systems and to create, modify, and optimize PLC and HMI programs. The role supports preventive maintenance and aims to minimize downtime, while assisting installation or commissioning projects for new machines.
Ideal candidates hold a BSc in Electrical/Automation/Mechatronics, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Education: S1 in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or Mechatronic.
- Minimum 2 years as Electrical/Automation Engineer in manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Hands-on with Omron, Mitsubishi, and Siemens PLCs including programming and troubleshooting.
- Proficient with CX-Programmer/Sysmac Studio, GX Works, TIA Portal/Step 7.
- Able to read wiring diagrams and electrical drawings (panels, I/O, control circuits).
- Familiar with sensors, actuators, relays, contactors and other control components.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA, servo drives, and inverters/VFDs.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.
