Exquisite Media seeks an Editor to join its editorial team and manage publications across travel, food, fashion, economic trend, and feature writing. You will own day-to-day editorial processes, including writing, editing and proofreading for magazines and online channels.

You will write briefs, contribute to the editorial plan, collaborate with senior editors, and create pagination while ensuring deadlines are met. Experience with fashion shoots and campaigns is a plus.

Formación

• Excellent fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written & spoken).
• University degree in English Literature/Journalism or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of writing experience for a publication.
• Interest in Luxury Brands, Travel, Lifestyle, Economics, Gourmet Food & Wine.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
• Willingness to be assigned to the Bali area if required.

In this position, you will be involved in taking ownership of the day-to-day editorial processes, including but not limited to writing, editing and proofreads for magazines as well as generating content across online channels.

Responsibilities:

Writing briefs & features for all publications, involving visiting clients and experiencing their products.

Assisting in the creation of a master editorial plan for the calendar year for all publications and generating copy for use by editorial, sales & marketing.

Working directly with the Publisher and the Managing Editor to create concepts and assisting vision implementation into the content of the publications.

Requirements:

Excellent fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both written & spoken).

University Degree in English Literature/Journalism and/or Bachelor of Arts in Related Field.

Ideally will have a minimum of two (2) years of experience writing for another publication, although all enthusiastic individuals with strong English & related interests will be considered.

Must have a keen interest in Luxury Brands, Travel, Lifestyle, Economics, Gourmet Food & Wine since these subjects are our most consistent subject matter.

Deep understanding of global and local fashion trends, designers, and the fashion industry landscape.

Experience collaborating with photographers, designers, and creative teams on fashion shoots and campaigns is a strong plus.

Creatively inspired, self-motivated, artistic & hard-working Individuals who enjoy thinking outside of the box + take pride in their work.

Organised & able to meet tight deadlines in a sometimes-high-pressure environment.

This position is open to expat and local professionals.

Willingness to be assigned to the Bali area if required.
