Job summary

PT Prym Intimates Indonesia in Semarang is seeking a dedicated Dyeing Supervisor to oversee the dyeing process, ensure color accuracy, fabric quality, and smooth production flow in line with company standards.

Responsibilities include planning bulk dye operations, coordinating with internal/external parties to resolve shade and quality issues, and driving continuous improvements while maintaining dye-house inputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Chemical/Textile Chemistry.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the textile/garment industry.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Solid knowledge of dyeing processes, equipment, and chemicals.
• Familiarity with Nylon and Polyester dyeing will be a plus.
• Extensive expertise in dyeing methods, color matching, and fabric finishing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate Bulk Dye operations as per internal and external customer requirements.
• Communicate/negotiate with approving parties to resolve shade issues/ quality issues/testing issues.
• Conduct audits, identify and take timely action on issues to ensure smooth dye house functionality.
• Build good working relationships with internal and external customers to understand their requirements.
• Work with suppliers to ensure products/services within the dye house are maintained up to the required quality standards.
• Carry out process improvement initiatives to enhance the performance of the product/ process.
• Implement/maintain the lean principle and practices in the Dye House Department.
• Maintain the availability of dyes and chemicals properly to cater to the demand dyeing operations while optimizing the stock-holding period.
