About the role

We are seeking a talented Drafter HVAC to join the engineering team at PT Adi Teknik Karya Bakti. This is a full-time position based in Central Jakarta. As a Drafter HVAC, you will play a crucial role in translating HVAC system designs into precise technical drawings and documentation. This position is essential to ensuring that our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning projects meet technical specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. You will work collaboratively with senior engineers, project managers, and other technical professionals to support the successful delivery of complex HVAC projects.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings for HVAC systems, including ductwork layouts, piping diagrams, and equipment schematics using CAD software
• Convert engineering sketches, specifications, and design concepts into accurate, to-scale drawings and plans
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building codes, industry standards, and company specifications
• Prepare construction documentation, including isometric drawings, sectional views, and assembly details
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to clarify design intent and resolve technical issues
• Maintain and organise drawing files and project documentation in accordance with company standards
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before submission to clients or site teams
• Assist in the preparation of bill of materials and equipment schedules
• Support project teams by providing updated drawings and modifications as required during project execution
• Communicate effectively with site personnel and suppliers regarding technical drawing requirements

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Drafting
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools), with strong technical drawing capabilities
• Solid understanding of HVAC system design, components, and installation principles
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations relevant to HVAC systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality technical documentation
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience with HVAC projects or technical drawing in the mechanical engineering field is preferred
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) tools is advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in English and Indonesian languages is beneficial
