Job summary

PT BYD Auto Indonesia is seeking a logistics dispatch coordinator to manage route planning, vehicle assignment, real-time tracking, and coordination across logistics nodes.

You will monitor progress, ensure on-time delivery, handle incidents, record data, and support freight settlement and driver attendance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (D3) or above in Logistics Management, Transportation, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics dispatching or related roles; ports or large fleet ops preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and office software; ability to read technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Allocate drivers and vehicles based on orders and plan routes.
• Monitor vehicle location and progress; coordinate with logistics nodes to ensure on-time delivery.
• Address incidents such as accidents, breakdowns, congestion, or delays; adjust transport plans accordingly.
• Record data through transport process and assist with freight settlement and driver attendance.

Job description

This role involves managing logistics dispatch operations, including route planning, vehicle assignment, real-time tracking, and coordination across logistics nodes. You will monitor vehicle progress, ensure on-time delivery, handle exceptions and emergencies, and support data recording and freight settlement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate car carrier drivers and vehicles based on order requirements and plan optimal routes
• Monitor vehicle location and progress, coordinate with various logistics nodes, and ensure on-time delivery
• Promptly address incidents such as accidents, vehicle breakdowns, traffic congestion, or customs delays, and adjust transport plans accordingly
• Record data throughout the transport process and assist with freight settlement, driver attendance, and customer reconciliation

About you

• Associate degree (D3) or above, preferably in Logistics Management, Transportation, or related fields
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics dispatching or related roles; experience in ports or large fleet operations is preferred
• Proficient in Excel and other office software
• Fluent in Indonesian; basic English reading and writing skills required, with ability to understand technical documentation for equipment
• Proficiency in Chinese is a plus for liaising with the Chinese management team
• Strong logical analysis and emergency response capabilities
• Good communication and coordination skills, team spirit, and ability to develop external business
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high pressure
